The places
Pupaggi’s plateau is located on the east side of the “ Via della Spina “ and, in that area, takes the shape of a watershed between Menote’s and Umbria valley’s territory and the south-east part of Valnerina, even if it belongs to the latter as far as morphology and history is concerned.
The “Via della Spina” was a connection over the Appennins of primary importance both as a transhumance and as a commercial and human communication road before the construction of Via Flaminia in the II century A.C. Moreover it witnessed the passing of Hannibal’s troops during the II^ Punic War.

Pupaggi
The ancient village of Pupaggi settled during XI th century around S.Sebastiano’s church.
We speak about a typical country-seat erected on the homonymous plateau, composed of a large internal square, faced both by the church and our farm holidays park , dominated by a dove-cote tower.
The tower has the peculiarity of being provided at the corners with overturned earthenware pots with the aim to prevent any possibility of predators scaling up to the dove-cote.
